Reality

I believe much of reality is what we make it out to be; in a sense, reality is in the eye of the beholder. I believe reality is what we consciously encounter in the physical world. Many people may not agree with my definition though. For instance, often times people carry on online relationships with one another and consider that reality for them. When I would consider their relationship virtual reality and carried on electronically. I believe our everyday encounters between each other and the world around us is what is truly "real". Even though something may feel real, it does not mean it necessarily is, such as people with mental conditions that hallucinate. What they imagine is not necessarily what is happening in real life and what we believe is true, but who is to say that it is not their version of reality?
